Yujia Zhang

I started my design study at the Beijing Dance Academy in China. I worked with Costume Designers and participated in the design projects for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games and the 2013 Nanjing Youth Olympic Games. I also participated in and helped design large- and small-scale theater costume design in China. I came to the United States in 2014 to work on my MFA at Carnegie Mellon University. Here I met my good friend and many great designers. I am passionate about drama, film, and fashion design, and have very professional painting techniques. I actively expand my skills not only in design and painting, but also in additional areas. For example, I have experience in fabric dyeing, hat-making, craftwork, and molding. I have 12 years of extensive experience in costuming. After graduation, I travel between Los Angeles and Pittsburgh to deepen my film and screenwriting experience. Now I am in Orlando, FL, to start my new life.
